Put TENZION on your master or any bus and turn up the BUILD sun. Your mix thins out, washes into reverb, gets driven and chopped, while a tempo-synced snare roll and a white-noise riser come in on top.
Pull BUILD back to zero and the drop hits: the crash or impact lands and your mix snaps back clean. From clean to a festival-ready build, in one move.

What it does
Choose your layers
Six effect buttons decide what takes part in the build, in any combination. BUILD drives all of them at once. Try it: switch the buttons and move the sun.

A tempo-synced snare roll that speeds up as BUILD rises, for example from 1/4 to 1/32.

A white-noise riser sweeping up over the top of your mix.

Your mix washes into reverb. WASH sets how much of the dry signal it replaces.

A rising high-pass that thins out your mix, and the roll with it.

Saturation that grows with the build.

Chops your mix in time with the roll.

TENZION always follows your DAW’s tempo. You choose who moves the sun: you, the timeline, or a loop.

Type the drop bar (say 17) and a length (say 8 bars). TENZION builds by itself every time you play through, even if you start in the middle.

Good to know
How does the licence code work?
After paying you get a personal licence code that belongs to your email address. Open TENZION, enter that email and paste the code. You do this once; TENZION checks it on your own computer.
No iLok, no dongle, no subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You only need an internet connection to download TENZION. Activating the licence and making music work offline.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet. For now TENZION is for macOS on Apple Silicon, as AU and VST3.
Which DAWs can I use?
TENZION comes as an Audio Unit and a VST3, the plugin formats most macOS DAWs use. It’s tested in Logic Pro.
Is it safe on my master?
Yes. At 0% your audio passes through untouched, bit for bit. Put TENZION before your master limiter: the drop sounds add level on top of your mix.
I lost my licence code
It’s in our email from info@carstonmusic.com with the subject “Your TENZION licence”. Can’t find it? Write to info@carstonmusic.com from the address you bought with.
